Every ointment has it’s fly. Equestria was no exception. Envy and vanity grew in the hearts of the equestrian aristocracy after Twilight Sparkle’s coronation. In their stupidity and arrogance they did something that plunged Equestria in such chaos, that not even Discord could fathom possible. Their recklessness came at a high price however, not only for Equestria, but also their closest ally, the Crystal Empire.
Over the years, the fairytale land fell into barbarism, ignorance and cruelty, forgetting about it’s traditions. Some wanted to use this situation. Some fought against it.
And then there were those, who knew that lack of adaptation meant death.
This is the story of one of them.
